Terms of Service

1. Purpose

ScoreMigos is a 100% free sports prediction game made for fun among friends. It is a game of skill (predictions): ScoreMigos offers no stake, no money betting and no cash prize. The service therefore does not fall under gambling regulations.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ScoreMigos, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Account

Registration is free and requires a valid e-mail address and a nickname. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. One account per person: creating multiple accounts to distort a leaderboard is prohibited and may lead to removal of the accounts involved.

4. Game rules and fair play

Predictions must be submitted before the deadlines (kick-off times). You play "for glory": cheating, abusive automation or any manipulation of the standings is prohibited.

5. Private contests and "stakes"

Contests are created and managed freely by users. If participants agree among themselves on a "stake" (for example a round of drinks or a meal), this is a strictly private, off-platform arrangement under the sole responsibility of the participants. ScoreMigos collects, holds and redistributes no money and is not a party to such arrangements.

6. Content and conduct

You agree not to post illegal, hateful, defamatory content or content infringing the rights of others (including in nicknames, group names and messages). We may moderate, hide or delete any content and suspend any account in case of breach.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its brand, texts and code are protected. Team, player and competition names belong to their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only. ScoreMigos is not affiliated with FIFA or any federation or organiser.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of continuous availability or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site. Predictions and recaps are provided for entertainment and do not constitute advice.

9. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy below.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The version published on this page prevails; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of Brussels, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

Performance of the service (contract), legitimate interest (security, analytics) and, where applicable, consent (non-essential communications).

5. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by our technical providers: hosting (Hostinger), e-mail delivery service, and an artificial intelligence provider for generating recaps (only nicknames and game facts are sent to it, never your e-mail). We do not sell your data.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some processors may handle data outside the EU, with the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR.

7. Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time. Technical logs are kept for a limited period.

8. Your rights

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (session, CSRF security, light/dark theme preference, language) and analytics cookies. No third-party advertising cookie is set by default.

10. Security and minors

Passwords are hashed and traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). The service is intended for people aged 16 and over (or with the consent of a legal guardian).
